Bowers, Todd

Todd Bowers
I bring 30 years of experience teaching and helping students learn the fundamentals and importance of mathematics. My previous teaching experiences range from seventh grade through 12th grade mathematics. I’ve taught a broad range of math courses at all levels, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus and Statistics.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and my Master of Science degree in Educational Administration from The University of Akron.  I am a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the South Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics.

I coach softball for Wando High School. I enjoy having the opportunity to work outside the classroom with this group of outstanding young ladies.

I am a recent transplant to the Charleston area. My family relocated from Olmsted Falls, Ohio. I live in Mt. Pleasant. My daughter Annalise is a senior at Clemson studying Chemical Engineering. My daughter Audra is a freshman at the University of Florida studying Health Sciences. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time at the beach, playing golf, watching all types and levels of athletic events, and reading.

I am looking forward to an exciting and successful year at Wando High School.  Go Warriors!
