Courses Taught

English 1 Honors

English 1-Honors is  a structured study of classic World Literature designed to prepare students for the rigorous expectations of college-level English courses. Instruction and activities will focus on reading, writing, both argumentative and literary analysis, communication, grammar, vocabulary and research.  Students will be encouraged to make connections between English and World Geography themes and topics in order to create a deeper understanding of the humanities.  A state mandated end-of-course examination is given to students enrolled in this course. English 1-Honors will meet yearlong on a skinny 6 period schedule.

Class assignment information can be found on Google Classroom. Each student receives a code to access their individual class.
