Welcome to Three Dimensional Design Honors!

In these advanced studio art courses, students will build upon the previous three-dimensional course(s).  They will continue to utilize the principles and elements of design in three-dimensional forms. Additive, subtractive, and manipulation techniques will be used with a variety of media (clay, wood, wire, etc.) to explore the sculptural form. Students will be acquainted with the history of sculpture and view work by historical and contemporary artists as they develop sculptural forms. This course will include individual critiques, written reports, a portfolio, participation in competitive exhibits, and an end-of-course show.
