 Wando High School

This is my first year teaching high school. My journey is not a traditional teaching path. I have an MA in printing making and an MBA in marketing. While pursuing my MBA at Purdue University, I was an adjunct professor teaching 2-D and 3-D design and ceramics. I also taught 2-D design for 3 years for a vocational school in California.

I then moved to Boston where I reentered the corporate world. I have been a marketing and communications specialist for environmental engineering and consulting firms for the past 10 years and then fate happened. I got the opportunity to interview for a job that I am passionate about, teaching young people art.

I'm so excited to be at Wando and look forward to everyday because I get to make  students excited about art and understand how it influences their everyday lives.
