|My name is Eric Kiturkes and I am a part of the science department at Wando High School! This year I will be teaching Honors Chemistry 1 and Chemistry 2. This is my third year as a Warrior and my fourth year teaching in South Carolina. I am also one of the faculty sponsors of Wando's Spectrum Club.
Originally, I'm from the Detroit area of Michigan (the closest American area that can be considered South Detroit, thank you Journey), where I got my Bachelor's of Science from Eastern Michigan University, graduating Summa Cum Laude and with Honors. Outside of school, I like reading science fiction and dystopian novels, trying new foods, experimenting in the kitchen, and playing strategy board games. I look forward to showing you around the world of science and all the ways that it connects to life!
