French, (Jane) Ellen

Ellen French
My name is Ellen French, and I am thrilled to be teaching English III during the 2016-2017 school year at Wando. A Mississippi native, I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a minor in history from the University of Mississippi.  After relocating to Mount Pleasant, I earned my Master’s Degree in Teaching Secondary English. I am truly passionate about exploring and discussing literature and am honored to have the opportunity to teach young adults to expand their perspectives through reading and writing. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends, reading good books, kayaking, and spending time outside. I look forward to a wonderful school year!
