Welcome to AP Seminar or
English 1-Honors!

This is my third year at Wando High School, and I am thrilled for the opportunity to continue teaching at this remarkable school. I am extremely passionate about fostering creativity, collaboration, and connections within my classroom in order to empower my students to become lifelong learners. I am a Minnesota native who is not a fan of cold weather and snow, so I decided to relocate to Charleston in search of a warmer climate. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Secondary English Education with a minor in TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina. In my spare time, I enjoy relaxing on the beach, exploring this beautiful city, reading good books, staying active, and spending time with my family and friends.

I am looking forward to a great school year! Please let me know if I can assist you in any way.
